Your Nest
My home is (select all that
apply):
My palace
My oasis from the crazy world
A very large storage area for my clothes
and other things
A constant disaster area needing fixing,
cleaning, and other aspects of “doing” that
makes me prefer to stay outside
With summer coming to an end
and school back in session, we turn our attention
to the place that will keep us safe and warm
in the chill of the coming months...
Home. Home sweet home. However you say it,
the word 'Home' should have a warm, soothing
sound. It should immediately conjure an image
of a sweet, safe place to lay your head,
a haven filled with people and things you
love that love you back.
Your home is a great example of your image
in action. For better or for worse, it is
a direct reflection of your image of yourself
at this very moment along your journey.
Without question, a well-organized home reflects
your personal style and supports you each
and every day to be productive and efficient.
Uncluttered spaces open your life to events,
people and circumstances that will propel
you toward your goals. Beautiful spaces that
are filled with things you love and have
collected throughout your life provide a
peace of mind that allows energy to flow
and joy to surround you.
A beautiful home is no accident. Like a wardrobe
built from carefully selected garments in
perfect colors and silhouettes to reflect
the best you, your home requires both inspiration
and careful planning. It does not require
unlimited budgets and years of design (unless
those are your choice). Like all your things,
your home should make you look and feel fabulous
and reflect your very best.

E-Image Inquiry
Q. I spend more time in my office than in my home. How 'personal' can/should my office image be?
A. Your office should reflect key pieces of information about you and possess enough of your personality to let you feel great. Your space should not give away more than you would want others to know (without telling them directly).
Here are some suggestions:
Say NO to: Empty white walls, teddy bears, your first catchers' mitt, magazine cut-outs of your favorite sit-com family
Say YES to: Favorite prints or photos that you selected and framed in your personal style on the walls, copies of your favorite inspirational business books on your desk or credenza, a healthy plant in a beautiful planter that you picked yourself (you never know when you'll need a silent, CO2-loving friend to vent to)
